Meet Dr. Robert Zachary Rasco, D.D.S.

I grew up in Washington state but found my way to California when I attended Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. After graduating in 2016, my wife and I, along with our two children, moved to Sonora where my wife grew up. I spent my first seven years of dentistry at the Tuolumne Me Wuk Dental Center, which I found to be very rewarding. In 2023 I made the move to Sierra Family Dental and have been enjoying every minute.

I find joy in dentistry by working as a team to bring excellent dental care to our patients. It can be nerve-racking going to the dentist, so it is our goal to make the visit enjoyable by providing a calm and caring atmosphere. As an active member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the San Joaquin Dental Society, I remain committed to advancing my profession.

When I am not at the office I am enjoying time with the family, skiing at Dodge Ridge, hiking, biking, disc golfing, camping… I think you get the idea, we like being outdoors. In the summer we spend some time commercial fishing for salmon in Alaska. It is a big change of pace compared to dental work, but I love the hard work and great experience it provides our kids.
